Typically, at the end of the year, we feature a final post filled with photographs of vineyards, beautiful châteaux and the faces of our smiling clients enjoying all the properties we’ve visited with them.
This year, of course, nothing was typical. There was no travel. No visits anywhere. We rescheduled tours and then canceled them completely. We learned to “taste” via Zoom and moved into a virtual world. Like everyone, we worked to adapt.
About the only reliably constant element in our lives was you — our amazingly supportive customers! You ordered. You referred friends and co-workers. You kept us going. Now, as the year draws to a close (Hallelujah!) and we look over our sales figures, we’re astonished to see just how successful we were. Needless to say, we are beyond grateful.

So far as 2021 is concerned….we won’t even try to make predictions. But whatever the new year brings, we’ll continue working hard to find the world’s best wines to share with you. And, we fervently hope we’ll soon be able to travel with you to enjoy these great wines where they’re produced.
Meanwhile, if you can find a silver lining in a pandemic, it would undoubtedly be the extra time we’ve all had to spend with our families. As with many of you, our family has been an enormous source of support and comfort. In our case, we’ve even expanded our business to involve our kids. If you haven’t had a chance yet to check out their Double P Imports web site, you’ll want to do so.
Again, many, many thanks for your encouragement and support. Wishing you a joyous holiday season and a very healthy, happy new year!
