95    Jane Anson for Decanter
“Right off the bat this has richness and concentration, with peachy creaminess through the mid-palate but without sacrificing tension and lift. It’s a fine example of what 2017 can deliver in the best whites, and should age very well.” (4/2018)

93-95    Roger Voss for Wine Enthusiast
“Spice and toast give this wine attractive complexity as well as ripeness. It shows abundant, concentrated yellow-fruit notes as well as a fine texture. It is still very young and will be better from 2021.” (4/2018)

92    Neal Martin for Vinous
“The 2017 Carbonnieux Blanc has a very harmonious bouquet with scents of lime, white flowers, melon and grapefruit that gradually unfold with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a little more weight and persistence than the Deuxième Vin, though truth is that there is not an enormous qualitative difference between the two. But here I appreciate the salinity on the finish and I suspect it will age with style.” (2/2020)

92    James Molesworth for Wine Spectator
“Very bright, with lots of gooseberry and chamomile notes racing along, this glistens with a fleur de sel edge on the mouthwatering finish. Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.” (1/2020)
