“This comes from two parcels totalling less than one-third of a hectare, both in Grand Maupertuis near the top of the Clos. The grapes were completely destemmed prior to vinification in a single, new, small oak cask. The result is nearly impenetrable. On the nose it is reserved; on the palate, ferociously tannic. One thing is certain, it is a wine of intense concentration and massive extract. Drinking Window 2024 – 2039.” (1/2021)
