“Bourgogne vineyards below Nuits and Chambolle. 20% whole bunch. Fresh pink purple, lovely perfumed pinot, really very classy, scented cherries, prettily ripe red fruits with good acidity. No punch down here, just turn the cap and give a light pump over. Very long finish for a Bourgogne. Tasted: November 2020.”

“This Bourgogne is blended from 1ha of domaine-owned vines in Nuits with 2ha of purchased fruit from Chambolle. It shows a silky, spicy red fruit character, a supple and aromatic presence on the palate, with fresh acidity and good length. 20% of the grapes are fermented as whole clusters and the wine is aged in 25% new casks. Drinking Window 2024 – 2039.” (10/2020)
