The most prestigious cuvée of the domain, Le Clos Peyrassol Rosé was recommended by Wine Advocate in 2020, tying for 1st place as the best Côte de Provence rosé. The wine’s first production was 2009 and since then has only been produced in the most ideal of vintages.

Cinsault, Grenache, Tibouren are hand-harvested at night to retain freshness and prevent any early maceration of the berries. The fruit is destemmed and pressed gently to separate the free run juice. It is vinified in stainless steel tank after a 24-hour cold settling to remove the majority of lees. Malolactic fermentation is avoided. Then aged for 6 months in grit stoneware jars which maintains the great freshness of the fruit while gaining complexity from the micro-oxygenation of the jars.

Reflections of pale pink and scents of crushed stone, red berries, nectarine and lime. Gourmet, refined and ample, this emblematic cuvée cultivates elegance.

94    Josh Reynolds for Vinous
“Limpid silver-pink. A complex, assertively perfumed bouquet evokes fresh, mineral-accented red berries, citrus fruits, pungent flowers, and succulent herbs. Dry and sharply focused on the palate, offering concentrated strawberry, pomegranate, blood orange and honeysuckle flavors and a hint of tarragon. Shows superb clarity and mineral-drive on the incisive finish, which hangs on with outstanding tenacity and repeating floatily.” (June 2021)

94    Tara Q. Thomas for Wine & Spirits
“Made only in exceptional years, Les Clos is a selection of the estate’s top parcels….Fermented in stainless steel, then aged in unlined sandstone eggs, the 2020 feels as ambitious as its heavyweight bottle suggests, the wine’s creamy richness noticeable from the first whiff. Its plump, leesy texture fills the mouth, making plenty of room for the ripe, spicy flavors; bitter herbals add contour to its fleshy red-plum and cherry fruit. Built to last.” (August 2021)

92    Roger Voss for Wine Enthusiast
“Top of the range from Peyrassol, this wine comes from a single vineyard. It is densely rich, packed with ripe red fruits. Touched by spice and beautifully textured, the wine is ready to drink.” (July 2021)
